Nebraska Students Join Fight Against Cancer

The American Cancer Society is turning to Nebraska students for this year's Relay for Life events.

Students from Creighton University, Doane College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha will host Relay For Life events on their campuses.

Creighton kicks off the campus events on March 23.

The events wrap up April 27 when high school students from across the state meet at the Omaha Sports Complex for a relay.

Relay For Life is an overnight event that mobilizes communities to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones and raise money for the fight against cancer.

More information can be obtained by contacting the American Cancer Society in Omaha at 402-393-5801, in Lincoln at 402-423-4893
or online at www.RelayForLife.org.
