A 27-year-old Lincoln man facing six years in a prison for child pornography now faces a state charge that he molested an 8-year-old girl.

Jay Gilmore was arrested Wednesday. Authorities say that over
the past month, Gilmore fondled the girl and forced her to touch
him.

Last week in a federal courtroom, Gilmore was sentenced for
possessing and distributing child pornography. Investigators say
they found about 500 videos and digital images of child pornography
on Gilmore's computer and related equipment.

The judge gave Gilmore 90 days to wrap up family matters before
returning to custody for transport to a federal facility.

A Lancaster County jailer said Gilmore remained in custody on
Thursday.
