Omaha Teen Dead in East City Shooting

An 18-year-old Omaha man has died in a shooting in east Omaha.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 11 p.m. Friday for reports of a shooting and found two people who had been shot. Those two were taken by ambulance to an Omaha hospital.

Police learned that two other people who had been shot were taken to another hospital in a private vehicle.

Police say one of the shooting victims, an 18-year-old man, died at the hospital. Authorities have not released his name.

Investigators say officers discovered another person had been shot two blocks away from the first shooting. Police have not said whether the shootings were related.

Police did not release further details, including whether any arrests have been made.
