A 79-year-old Omaha woman got the last laugh on a would-be thief.

Kay Novacek says she gave directions to a skinny, unkempt man who approached her while she was at her mailbox.

Omaha television station reports that when he asked for a drink of water, she took him inside her home.

But when she went into her kitchen to get the water, he reached for her billfold. Novacek says she could see his reflection in the window of her microwave, so she turned around, said, "Oh, no, you don't!" and took it back.

He had managed to grab a bill from it, so he ran out.

How much did he get?

$1 billion, in play money.
