The Transportation Security Administration has a box with hundreds of knives taken from passengers since Christmas at Omaha's Eppley Airfield.

TSA ranks the airport in the top 10 of U.S. airports for catching barred items at the checkpoints.

Besides the knives and other forbidden items, security personnel
have confiscated iron skillets, power tools, a lava lamp and a
six-pack of beer.

Rick Gordon is TSA's federal security director in Nebraska. He said that TSA agents at Eppley have confiscated more than 6,000 items in the past
four years.
