PepperJax Grill has announced that it will open its first restaurant in Lincoln at 2801 Pine Lake Rd., Suite S in a location that formerly housed 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment in the South Ridge Village Retail Center.
The new PepperJax Grill at 27th & Pine Lake is planned to open in fall of 2011. More Lincoln locations are being planned for the future.
PepperJax Grill is known for its made fresh to order Famous Phillies, Gourmet Rice Bowls, Giant Wraps, and Fresh Salads.
A Nebraska based quick casual restaurant chain, PepperJax Grill, was founded by Gary and Linda Rohwer. Lincoln residents may remember the old Chartroose Caboose which was also developed by the Rohwers. Gary Rohwer, President of PepperJax Grill Inc. said, “the addition of this new restaurant in Lincoln is a big part of our expansion plans. We’re very excited to open our first restaurant in Lincoln. We’ve had a lot of requests to bring our popular menu items to Lincoln and soon it will become a reality. Folks in Lincoln that remember the Chartroose Caboose will absolutely love PepperJax Grill,” Rohwer said.
PepperJax Grill currently operates seven restaurants in the Omaha area and also has restaurants in Lawrence and Overland Park, Kansas. The new PepperJax Grill at 27th & Pine Lake is planned to open in fall of 2011. More Lincoln locations are being planned for the future.
