Pilot Program Prepaid Taxi Cards Designed to Thwart Drunken Driving

Law enforcement officials are hoping that new prepaid card for cab fare will put a dent in drunken driving cases in the Omaha area.
The I Care Cab Fare is a prepaid gift card that's accepted by Omaha area cab companies.
The card costs as little as $20, but those purchased through January will come with an additional $5.
Sarpy County Sheriff Jeff Davis says the card takes away any excuse to drive drunk.
The cards can be bought at any SAC Federal Credit Union.
