Police Search for Man Who Stole Truck

Lincoln Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing a man's truck, after trying to steal a woman's car.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Turtle Creek Road around 11a.m. Wednesday on a larceny in progress.

The 20-year-old woman was leaving here apartment and saw a man in her car. When he realized he was seen, he ran off.

Police tracked the suspect to 1001 Fletcher. While the officers were there, the resident came home and found that his 1977 red and white ford pick up was gone. Keys were left in the center console.

Officers are looking for a white man in his 20s, about 5'5" tall, and around 150 lbs.

Police say he has reddish hair and an unshaven face.

The truck has a cattle guard on the front and the plates read STA624.
