Grand Island police are looking for a thief who stole about $6,000 worth of computer equipment from an elementary school.
Police tell The Grand Island Independent (http://bit.ly/V4ScuS) that the theft from Howard Elementary School happened sometime over the weekend.
Police Capt. Robert Falldorf says the thief got away with three iPads, four MacBooks, a backup hard drive and a JVC high-definition camera.
Police believe the thief gained entry to the school by removing a pane of glass from a door.
