Lincoln police arrested a robbery victim for growing marijuana.

Police say two men forced their way into a home at 2969 Starr Street early Saturday morning with a handgun. Two hookahs were stolen.

Police say the victims became uncooperative during questioning.

According to police, an officer saw marijuana, drug paraphernalia and hydroponic fertilizer in plain sight. There was also a padlocked room with light coming out of the cracks.

After getting a search warrant, police say officers found a small marijuana grow operation of three plants in early stages of growth.

They say there were grow lights on the plants and a fan used to control humidity.

Danar Hassan was arrested for manufacturing marijuana and two 19-year-old roommates were cited and released for possession of paraphernalia.
