The Omaha Rollergirls are partnering with Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital for care.
The hospital says it will provide a medical team consisting of orthopaedics, an emergency department, physical therapy, athletic training and nursing.
It also will provide injury screenings and medical coverage for special events.
Officials for both sides say the partnership will be beneficial to players' safety.
The Omaha Rollergirls began their season on Feb. 9.
