A 13-year-old has been taken into custody after authorities say he crashed a tractor into a shed.

According to Hall County Sheriff Captain Todd Bahensky, the teen has runaway from Boys Town in Grand Island.

Bahensky said the boy was attempting to steal a car in the shed at 5362 South Highway 281. The Nebraska State Patrol and G.I. Police quickly responded.

The boy was taken to the juvenile detention center in Madison. He was arrested for burglary and felony criminal mischief, according to Bahensky.
