Grand Island police may be closer to slowing a spike in burglaries this year.
According to Officer Butch Hurst, police served a search warrant Wednesday at 1622 West North Front Street.
Richard Jarman Junior,24, and his mom Lynette Jarman were both arrested on Wednesday.
Grand island police say 14 burglaries and three attempted burglaries were reported to police last weekend.
On wednesday a search warrant was executed at the suspects home on WN Front Street.
Grand Island Police say they found evidence linking Richard Jarman to nearly a dozen burglaries.
Richard Jarman is expected to be in court on Thursday.
