The 2013 Regional Severe Weather Seminar has been scheduled for March 10 in southeast Nebraska's Saline County.

The afternoon's keynote presentation will be given by meteorologist, storm chaser and author Jon Davies, who will speak on "Midwest Severe Weather Live."

Davies has worked for The Weather Channel, KSNW-TV and Wichita State University. Davies and his wife, Shawna, are storm chasers and authors of a children's book, "Storm Chasers! On The Trail of the Twisters."

The free seminar is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Saline Center Hall. The hall sits 11 miles west and three miles north of Wilber on Nebraska Highway 15.
