The University of Nebraska at Omaha has scheduled a free one-day workshop with tips to help military veterans start a small business.

The "Business Plan Bootcamp" is scheduled for July 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mammel Hall, home to the university's College of Business Administration.
The workshop is open to veterans and active duty National Guard and reserve members, and their spouses. The workshop will cover how
to craft a business plan, apply for financing, use social media marketing and other skills. Tim Donahue, a Chadron State College
professor and Vietnam veteran, will facilitate the day's sessions.
The workshop is hosted by the Nebraska Business Development Center Veterans Assistance and Services Program.
