University of Nebraska Combined Enrollment Dips

The University of Nebraska has announced a slight drop in fall 2012 enrollment.

Figures from the four campuses and the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture totaled nearly 50,200 students, a drop of 0.4 percent from fall 2011.

The university says undergraduate enrollment is essentially unchanged, while graduate enrollment decreased and professional enrollment rose.

Enrollment dropped 1.6 percent at the Lincoln campus, rose 0.5 percent at the Omaha campus, 1.4 percent at the Kearney campus and 0.8 percent at the Medical Center in Omaha.
