A witness to the shooting death of a Sidney woman has pleaded guilty to distributing drugs.

Authorities say 56-year-old Leland Blake pleaded guilty to distributing vicodin as part of a deal with prosecutors. Two other charges were dismissed.

Blake also agreed to testify against 53-year-old Larry Martinez.

Prosecutors say Martinez shot and killed 30-year-old Mandy Kershman in July at Blake's home because Martinez was angry over a text message from her.

Blake is scheduled to be sentenced March 6. Prosecutors say he sold the painkillers to an undercover offer twice in July.
