Gering police say a woman died after car went through a railroad crossing and collided with a freight train.
Police say the driver apparently tried to go through or around the
crossing Wednesday afternoon when her car was struck by the crossing arm. The car then collided with a locomotive.
The woman's name wasn't immediately released.
