It's a new part of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Challenge this year, At-Home-Challengers.
Four women were chosen to improve their heart health with the help of physicians from the Nebraska Heart Hospital and trainers from Madonna Proactive.
Four other women are following the same guidelines in the comfort of their own home but without all the professional support.
It's their job to stay self motivated.
"I've really become an expert at why I can't change a particular unhealthy habit at this time. I'm too busy, I'm spending too much time at work or whatever it might be. Really anytime is the right time to start," said 35-year-old Shannon McClure.
