There's been a lot of excitement at a couple of convenience stores all over the nation as a world record lottery win nears.

A lot of people who had never bought a lottery ticket before were getting in on the action at Roc's Stop and Shop in Lincoln. A U-Stop on West 'O' which sold a winning Powerball jackpot six years ago was also popular with locals.
We stopped by the U-Stop that has superstitious ticket buyers keeping them swamped. Then we headed around town to find out what folks were planning to do with the winnings.
Lexus of Lincoln says if you were to take home the $640 million dollar jackpot, you could clear out their showroom filled with some of the most expensive cars in town while enjoying a different model - for every day of the week- and still have plenty left over.
If it's jewelry you're after, Michael Tish has rings which sell for more than a million dollars. Imagine taking home 640 of those.
Then of course there's the electronics option. Ronnie Romero of Schaefer's in Lincoln says his most expensive TV sets sell for around five grand, and then there's the option of an eight thousand dollar bed.
While it was fun to daydream for a bit, our numbers didn't hit. But if we ever come into half a billion dollars, we now have an idea of how to spend it.
