Omaha songwriter Karen Sokolof Javitch has taken a cue from first lady Michelle Obama and written a song to inspire children to get off the couch.
Javitch's song, "I Love to Sweat," is available on her website and can be downloaded at no charge at www.JMRProductions.com.
Javitch says the first lady's campaign to lower childhood obesity rates inspired her to record the song and offer it for free "in the hopes that it could reach as many people as possible."
One place Javitch recently heard the song was at an Omaha children's fitness center, as children worked out to the tune.
Michelle Obama is set to appear on "The Tonight Show" Tuesday night and is expected to talk about her fitness initiative for children.
