A Rhode Island mother says her family was removed from a JetBlue flight last month after struggling with her 2-year-old daughter, who refused to sit down.
Dr. Colette Vieau and her family were taken off a Feb. 18 flight from Turks and Caicos to Boston.
Vieau was traveling with her husband and daughters, ages 3 and 2. When 2-year-old Natalie wouldn't sit, her parents buckled her seatbelt and held her in place.
Vieau says the family was kicked off the flight anyway.
JetBlue says the captain returned to the gate after customers did not comply with instructions given by a crew member.
The airline says the captain decided to remove the customers for safety reasons after a "prolonged period of time without compliance."
