Former Nebraska US Senator Chuck Hagel is edging closer to becoming the next Secretary of Defense.
Sen. Carl Levin (D-Michigan) who serves as Chairman for the United States Senate Armed Services Committee says the panel plans to vote on the nomination of Hagel on Tuesday, according to a report by the Associated Press.
This comes following news from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R - South Carolina) saying Sunday he would delay the votes on Hagel and John Brennan, President Obama's nominee to head the CIA until Graham gets more answers about the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya in September killing four Americans.
