Local stores are seeing an increase in purchases because of nice weather. Shoppers are buying things like steaks, burgers and fruit. Also people all over Lincoln hungout around the Railyard and Haymarket area enjoying the weather.
It seems like every time you turn around there's new construction, or new apartments being built, but a lot of these places are made for students, or young professionals, so what happens to the older community members who need affordable housing?
Over 20 craft brewers from around Nebraska came to Lincoln Thursday to rally together and bring attention to a bill they believe could hurt their industry. Brewers said the proposal could make some of Nebraskans favorite craft beer more expensive and limit the places people can buy it.
