On Feb. 4, an investigator with North Platte Police Department arrested Logan Johnston, for felony of procuring for a minor. Seventeen-year-old Chandler Snyder was found dead the morning of Nov. 2, 2013.
Police say further test results ruled the death was accidental from alcohol poisoning.
Police say they found probable cause to arrest Johnson for his role in the teens death.
Johnston was processed and released at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
North Platte Senior, Maxx Weigel, has been friends with Chandler since Elementary school.
"He was inspirational, he always had a great attitude for himself, and he was happy he made people happy," said Weigel.
Snyder was found in a trailer located on the corner of Phillips and Griffith. Neighbors say Chandler’s friend found him in the trailer and called 911.
"Anytime you have an unattended death and one of a 17-year-old it's suspicious in nature, and that’s the reason for the autopsy," said Police Officer Rodney Brown.
"It just really shows you how easily things can change," said Weigel.
