Bo Pelini hopes to see his defense put points on the board Saturday against Oklahoma.

"You never know what's going to happen on Saturdays," Pelini said. "So you need to play well in all three phases of the football game. But if you can score and make some plays on defense, that certainly helps."

Prior to last week's special teams touchdown against Baylor, the Husker defense and special teams unit hadn't scored a touchdown since Larry Asante's interception return for a score against Louisiana-Lafayette.
