Call it heartbreak, call it a great game, call it disappointment - but the Huskers played their hearts out and played a great game.
The Huskers come so close, but in the end, it came down to instant replay to decide the winner of the Big 12 Championship, and in the end, Texas' Hunter Lawrence kicked the game-winning 46 yard field goal and that kick proved to be the difference on the evening as Texas wins the Big 12 Championship.
Nebraska limited the Longhorns to 202 total yards on the day and only 18 yards on the ground.
The Longhorns head to Pasadena and the National Championship game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, while the Huskers will head more than likely to San Diego to play in the Holiday Bowl.
