Here’s a look at the July 17th show

This week’s Pure Nebraska show highlights the state’s number one industry, agriculture, but we don’t stop there! We also celebrate the state by showing you great places to visit as 10/11 News Anchor Jon Vanderford and 10/11 Meteorologist Brad Anderson talk to some of the people that make Nebraska so unique!

Even though the heat is taking a toll on crops this season, corn prices continue to rise. Jon Vanderford talks to the Executive Director of the Nebraska Corn Board about the trend.

And in our weekly “Our Town” segment, Jon Vanderford travels to Johnson, a small town where people take pride in their community. We’ll find out why business on Main Street remains strong over the years.

And in our “Good Life” report, Meteorologist Brad Anderson takes us to Kimmel Orchard in Nebraska City. It’s not only a great place to pick apples and peaches, but it’s also a great family outing.
