Meet the First Functional Food - Herbs



All you need:
1/2 pineapple
1 mango, peeled and seeded
1 Pink Lady apple
1 navel orange, peeled and sectioned
1 banana, peeled
1 tbsp fresh basil
1 tbsp fresh mint
1/4 cup dried coconut
Juice and zest of one lemon


All you do:
1. Medium dice all of the fruit and place in a large mixing bowl.
2. Thinly slice basil and mint and add to fruit mixture.
3. Add remaining ingredients and toss.
4. Refrigerate for about one hour to allow flavors to develop.
