This steak recipe would be great for outdoor grilling, especially over your Memorial Day weekend.
1 tbsp Hy-Vee canola oil
1 tsp Hy-Vee chili powder
3/4 tsp Hy-Vee garlic salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
4 petite tender steaks (about 1 pound)
1. Combine canola oil, chili powder, garlic salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Rub on steaks and let steaks stand at room temperature until grill is ready.
2. Preheat grill to medium heat.
3. Grill steaks until desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium. Remove from heat; let steaks rest, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
