Nebraska basketball lands graduate transfer from Winthrop

The Nebraska basketball team has received a commitment from Duby Okeke, a graduate transfer from Winthrop.

Leading 6-4 after eight innings, the Nebraska baseball team (23-15-1, 7-4-1 Big Ten) scored three runs in the ninth to knock off Minnesota and win the three-game series at Siebert Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Nebraska softball team used a pair of six-run innings and a three-hit shutout from Cassie McClure to race to a 14-0 five-inning victory over No. 25 Illinois.

In front of a packed house of 2,040 fans at Kearney High School on Saturday afternoon, the Nebraska volleyball posted a 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 sweep of the Colorado State Rams.

The Nebraska baseball team (22-15-1, 6-4-1 Big Ten) fell to Minnesota, 5-3, at Siebert Field on Saturday afternoon, evening the weekend series at 1-1. On Friday night, the Huskers captured the opener by a 5-3 margin.
