The Beatrice Orangemen are starting the 2012 season in a brand new facility. The prior 100 years saw the team play its home games at Athletic Park in Beatrice, the place where they've played since 1911.
This new facility is just steps outside the high school. The old football field was in downtown Beatrice.
"I think when it's completed it's going to be one of the nicest in Class B that's for sure," head coach Bob Sexton said of the stadium.
Although it's a new stadium, it's the same expectations for the team.
"It's a team game and that's all we need to do. If we come together as a team. We'll be darn good."
