Following a under .500 record in 2011, the Malcolm Clippers are ready to get off to a good start in 2012. Malcolm has 18 starters returning from last year’s squad (9 offense, 9 defense), including senior running back/linebacker Zach Holka, senior tight end Jackson Schumacher and senior guard/defensive tackle Dane Christiansen.
Malcolm started the season with a 4-1 record, then ended the season on a four-game losing streak.
"We had a tough schedule last year and we learned a lot from that that you have to be ready to play every week and last year sometimes we went in second guessing what we were going to do and I don't see that happening this year," head coach Scott Amen said.
Malcolm opens the 2012 season against Louisville on August 31.
