One week after getting a huge win on the road against Ralston, the Beatrice Orangemen found a way to get a 12-7 victory against a tough and determined Norris football team Friday night at the House of Orange.

Beatrice was led by Dakota Vanlangingham who rushed for 135 yards on 23 carries as the Orangemen totaled 228 yards on the ground. Norris ran for 238 yards led by James Kruger who tallied 171 yards on 18 attempts.

Beatrice improves to 7-0 on the season with their final two games against Seward and Crete.

Norris falls to 5-3 on the season and will need to pick up a win either against Crete or Seward the final two weeks to have any hope of reaching the playoffs.
