Tyler Struck is the new head boys basketball coach at Beatrice.

Struck was an assistant coach for the Millard South girls basketball team the past three seasons. Struck was a graduate assistant coach for Greg McDermott at the University of Northern Iowa.

Struck will replace Jim Weeks, who left Beatrice after 24 years to become the men's basketball coach at Doane College.

In April, Beatrice announced the hiring of Matt Zajicek as head coach. He resigned the position two weeks later.
