The 2011 Bison Nebraska Gold basketball team held an open practice media day on Sunday, in preparation for its tournament this week in Indianapolis.

The Gold squad is made up of 11 of the state's top freshmen basketball players, and includes six athletes from Lincoln.

The team will compete July 5-8 at the Hoosier Shootout in Indianapolis, then travel to St. Louis July 9-11, and Bloomington, Minnesota July 13-15.
