Behind 134 yards and three touchdowns from Graham Nabity, Elkhorn defeats Crete 26-17 to claim the Class B State Football Championship.
Elkhorn quarterback Daniel Feichert passed for 96 yards and 1 touchdown to help the Antlers claim its fifth state championship.
Crete quarterback Derek McGinnis completed 13 passes for 149 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss. McGinnis was also sacked three times during the course of the game.
With the win, Elkhorn snaps Crete’s 25-game winning streak dating back to 2010. The Antlers hadn’t won a state championship since 1999.
