The Creighton Prep Junior Jays are the state champions of Class A in the State Baseball Tournament, following two 10-run victories over Lincoln Northeast Thursday at Haymarket Park.

After winning the first game 14-4 in six innings, Creighton Prep rolled to a 12-2 victory in the second game to claim the championship.

It's Creighton Prep's third state championship in the past four years.
