With many Husker basketball memories in the Devaney Center, one of the most-remembered high school games at the area was Wahoo beating Lincoln Pius X in 1989 for the Class B Title.
With no timeouts remaining, the Warriors hit 3-pointers to force overtime. Bernie Inbody hit the first, a 30-foot bomb, with 11 seconds left. Inbody then stole the inbounds pass near midcourt and fired a pass to Troy Glock. Glock hit the 28-footer that bounced off the backboard before falling in.
The crowd erupted in what officials called one of the loudest roars in tournament history. Wahoo went on to win the game in overtime, 68-66.
