Jake Findley threw for 366 yards and seven touchdowns to lead top-ranked Giltner to a 60-20 win over Shelton in the Class D-1 state semifinals Monday night.
With his yardage total, Findley broke the Nebraska single-season passing record.
Findley's main target on the night was Kyle Hawthorne who hauled in nine catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Hawthorne also rushed for 104 yards and returned the kickoff to begin the second half 79 yards for another touchdown.
Giltner (12-0) meets Humphrey St. Francis (12-0) for the Class D1 state championship next Monday at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 10:15 a.m.
