Former Rocket Named New Girls Soccer Coach at Northeast

Becca Hiller has been named Lincoln Northeast High School’s new head coach of girls soccer.

Hiller has been a teacher and coach at Northeast the past five years coaching the girls junior varsity soccer, and freshmen and reserve basketball. She takes over a program that she lettered in four years and captained her senior year.

Hiller was a member of both Rocket teams that qualified for state in 1999 and 2001 while playing for Coach Mike Marsh. She earned a total of nine letters during her high school career in softball, basketball, and soccer.

She played soccer and basketball at Concordia University, where the basketball team had a combined 110-18 over her four years. She also played soccer her final year earning All-Conference 2nd Team.

Northeast Athletic Director Clayton Heath said, “Coach Hiller is a great teacher and coach. She is very enthusiastic, motivated, energetic, and focused. She gets the best out of the athletes she coaches. Her knowledge and passion for teaching and coaching is very evident. Northeast is very excited to have such a quality person, teacher, and coach with Becca Hiller as their next Head Girls’ Soccer Coach.”
