Class B: #3 Beatrice 51, #6 Northwest 34
Alicia Armstrong scored a team-high 17 points to lead Beatrice in a 51-34 quarterfinal win over Northwest. With the win, Beatrice advances to face Gretna in Friday’s semifinal. Hannah Barnard scored 13 points including 3 three point field goals in the game. Chantel Adams added 10 in the Lady Orange victory.
McKenzie Brown led Northwest with 12 points and Katie Placke added 8 in the loss.
Northwest ends its season at 16-7.
Class C1: #3 Minden 60, #6 Hershey 54
Hallie Bauer led Minden with 22 points, with 14 of those coming in the third quarter after being down 12 points at the half.
Brooke Kissinger scored 17 points and Jamie Kissinger added 15 points in the win. Minden shot 5 three point field goals in the game.
Daynlee Miller scored a team-high 23 points and Meagan Hiatt added 10 points in the loss.
Minden (21-2) meets Boone Central in a Class C1 semifinal on Friday.
Class D1: #4 Friend 37, #5 Exeter-Milligan 36
Anne Rohig led Friend with 9 points in its one-point quarterfinal win over Exeter-Milligan. Charlee Johnson added 8 points in the win. Friend meets Guardian Angels Central Catholic in a Class D1 semifinal on Friday.
Logan Zeleny led Exeter-Milligan with 10 points and Jennifer Pribyl added 9 in the loss.
Exeter-Milligan ends its season at 20-5.
Class D2: #5 Howells 56, #4 Ansley 32
Paige Indra led with 13 points en route to a 56-32 quarterfinal win over Ansley, setting up a semifinal match with Lindsay Holy Family. Amber Burenheide and Makenzie Polacek added 10 points each for Howells. Howells made 5 three-pointers in the quarterfinal win.
Katie Drake led Ansley with 13 points in the loss.
