Kadie Rolfzen scored a team-high 23 points to lead Papillion-LV South to a 56-41 quarterfinal win over Lincoln Northeast. Carina Russell added 11 points for the Titans in the win. Papillion-LV South faces Omaha Central in the first Class A semifinal on Friday.
Brianna Craig finished with 19 points for Lincoln Northeast in the loss. Morgan Ewing added 9 points for Northeast.
Lincoln Northeast finishes the season with an 18-6 record.
Class C1: #4 Sandy Creek 58, #5 Concordia 41
Mikaela Shaw scored a team-high 23 points to lead the Cougars of Sandy Creek to a 58-41 win over Concordia in the Class C1 quarterfinals. The win moves Sandy Creek into a Class C1 semifinal against Chadron on Friday.
Arianne Gesell led Concordia with 18 points in the loss.
Class C2: #6 Crofton 48, #3 Shelby-Rising City 46 (overtime)
Allison Arens scored a team-high 13 points leading Crofton to a 48-46 overtime win and sending the Warriors into a state semifinal against North Platte St. Pat’s. Bridget Arens scored 12 and Maria Wortmann added 10 points in the win.
Chatrice White scored a team-high 24 points for Shelby-Rising City.
Class D1: #3 Humphrey 56, #6 St. Mary’s 39
Alyssa Frauendorfer scored a team-high 21 points and Alex Wallin added 15 points to lead Humphrey to a 56-39 quarterfinal win against St. Mary’s. Humphrey hit 3 three-point field goals.
Bridget Schneider led St. Mary’s with 10 points in the loss.
Humphrey (22-4) faces Hitchcock County in Friday’s Class D1 semifinal.
