Brooke Kissinger led Minden with 25 points, including seven three-pointers, tying the state record as the Whippets defeated Boone Central 51-41 earning a berth in Saturday's championship final against Sandy Creek.

Hallie Bauer added 17 points in the win.

Boone Central was led by Jenna Lehmann with 12 points, Maria Glidden with 10 and Jaime Kennedy with 8 in the loss.

Class D1: Guardian Angels CC 77, Friend 52
Emily Knobbe led the Bluejays of Guardian Angels Central Catholic with 20 points en route to a 77-52 win over Friend, putting Guardian Angels into the Class D1 championship game Saturday at the Devaney Center.

Abby Ortmeier added 19 points for the Bluejays in the win.

Charlee Johnsen scored 17 points, a team-high for Friend in the loss.
