It starts 33 feet above the water for Lilly Hinrichs.
"It's scary everytime," Hinrichs commented.
Hinrichs, an aspiring Olympian, diving hasn't always come easy.
"The first four years I was awful, and I couldn't jump off the board, I would step off the board and belly flop."
Hinrichs is now one of the most decorated divers in Nebraska history and will compete for a spot on the US Olympic Team later this summer.
"I didn't even know I made it until my Mom was like 'Congrats!' and I was like, 'Oh my gosh!'", Hinrichs commented.
With it being her first time at the Olympic Qualifier, Hinrichs isn't favored for this year's games. But with the experience she gains diving at the trails and in the next four years competing at Stanford University, Hinrichs is hopeful she can make the team for the 2016 games in Brazil.
