The Nebraska wrestling program will feature a pair of high school duals before its next two home matches at the NU Coliseum this Friday, Jan. 6 against Ohio State, and Jan. 13 against Iowa. Before the Huskers’ dual against the Buckeyes, Omaha Skutt will take on Grand Island, while Kearney and Madison High School will wrestle before NU’s dual with Iowa.

Both high school duals are slated to start at 5 p.m., while the Huskers will begin at 7 p.m. both nights. Ticket prices for the special event are $10 for an adult and $6 for children and each fan only needs one ticket for admittance into both the high school dual and Nebraska dual. Fans can order tickets by visiting Huskers.com or calling 1-800-8BIGRED.

Nebraska’s dual against Ohio State also marks Military Appreciation Night at the NU Coliseum. All active and retired military personnel will receive free admission to both the Nebraska and Ohio State dual, along with the Grand Island and Omaha Skutt match.

The No. 14 Huskers are off to one of their best starts in school history with a perfect 9-0 record through their non-conference duals. NU features six nationally ranked wrestlers, including three inside the top 10 in No. 5 Robert Kokesh (165), No. 10 Josh Ihnen (184) and No. 10 Tucker Lane (Hwt). Nebraska will face off against two top-10 opponents as Ohio State is ranked No. 6 as a team, while Iowa is the No. 1-rated squad in the country, according to the latest NWCA rankings.
