The Lincoln Christian Crusaders scored the first 25 points of the game and held on in the second half to escape with a 45-39 win over Columbus Lakeview in the Class C-1 state football playoffs.
The Crusaders amassed 448 total yards in the game, partially due to the play of quarterback Logan Power and running back Ben Plambeck. Power had 127 yards rushing and threw for three touchdowns. He even accounted for Christian’s four touchdowns in the first half. Plambeck tallied 211 yards on the ground including three touchdowns.
Lincoln Christian (6-3) hosts Wahoo (8-1) in a second round playoff game next Wednesday.
