The Lincoln Southeast baseball team's season is over after a 3-0 loss to Papillion-La Vista South Monday afternoon. The Knights, the top seed in the Class A state baseball championships, lost their first two games of the postseason.
Papillion-La Vista South got on the board first when a delayed steal of home made it 1-0 and Lincoln Southeast could never break through. The Knights ended the sixth and seventh innings by grounding into double plays.
Lincoln Southeast finishes the season 21-5 overall.
