North Platte St. Patrick's only loss in the regular season was to another team in the State Volleyball Championships - Sutherland. It's second loss of the season proved to be more costly, no chance at a Class C2 state championship, and it came in a four-set loss to Lutheran High Northeast Friday morning.
Lutheran High Northeast (29-6) defeated North Platte St. Patrick's 25-16, 17-25, 25-19, 25-16 to reach the Class C2 Championship game for the third-consecutive season.
Lutheran High Northeast was led by Morgan Sunderman with 16 kills, Morgan Uhr added 14 in the match.
Brittany Lawrence tallied a team-high 19 kills to lead North Platte St. Patrick's who finishes the season with a 30-2 record. Shelby Allberry added 14 kills and 22 digs.
