Rich Olson is a household name in high school basketball, and now, he’s found a permanent spot, yet again as head coach.
Olson was named the head coach at Lincoln Lutheran on Wednesday. He had been serving as interim head coach while Tammy Gerlach took a leave of absence due to health issues.
Most recently, Olson was head coach at Lincoln Northeast, serving for six years. Prior to Lincoln Northeast, Olson served at his alma mater, Millard South for 20 years.
The Rockets were 99-38 in his six seasons at Lincoln Northeast.
